Actor Profiles

Actors in Canada, or anywhere for that matter, have to be versatile and adaptable. Besides seeing them in our Mysteries, you may have seen our actors performing in movies, TV shows, commercials, in the theatre, busking in the streets, or singing in cabarets and choirs. Several of our actors are also writers, directors and producers. Some of us work in Corporate situations, assisting businesses through role-play training.

Sam Owen
You can catch Sam in several different It's a Mystery To Me shows. He plays Jake in Big Al's Birthday Party and Quinn in Romanced To Death. Sam has appeared in Theatres across Canada and some previous credits include George in Same Time Next Year, Roger in The Long Weekend, Sterling in Jasper Station, Nick in The Last Resort, Johnny Torenado in Confessions of a Dirty Blonde (Red Barn Theatre), Joey in DADS! The Musical (Drayton Entertainment), Barney in Last Of The Red Hot Lovers, Mickey in Too Many Cooks, Chaz in Race Day! (Victoria Playhouse), Cam in the World Premiere of The Foursome (Theatre On The Grand), George in Of Mice and Men (Toronto Centre For The Arts), Tom in The Glass Menagerie (City Playhouse), Frankie in Forever Plaid (Ontario/East Coast Tour), Randall in The Wild Guys (BlueWater Playhouse), and Man 2 in I Love You're Perfect Now Change (Tribal Productions). He is also the Artistic Director at The City Playhouse in Vaughan Ontario, as well as a casting agent for several shows on The Discovery Network.
